Translating

Translation are done in 2 steps:

• Extracting the strings to translate from the program and putting them in the .po files
• Compiling .mo files containing the translations.

There is a script included in the repository to help you.

Extracting the strings

$ git clone https://github.com/jflesch/paperwork.git
$ cd paperwork
# git checkout unstable # or testing
$ ./localize.sh upd-po

Then edit locale/[your lang].po. Take care of looking at all the untranslated strings (they are empty strings ""). Take also care of checking all the fuzzy matching (look for the keyword "fuzzy", and remove it once checked)

Generating the .mo files

./localize.sh gen-mo
