For the collection game that we need to complete in chap1 to chap3, our team made a questionnaire for the user's preference, mainly about the user's hope for the freedom of the game and some details. The questions in this questionnaire are all for these contents.
- The above survey shows that players are still more supportive of receiving collection games from the interactive plot with npc. In this regard, due to technical problems, although we cannot fully present the entire interaction process, we can let players accept tasks of chap2 and chap3 in the form of pictures and dialog boxes. This not only meets the needs of players, but also ensures that the technical aspects can be supported.
- Through the results of this survey, it can be seen that players prefer games with a higher freedom. If the corresponding props have been picked up before receiving this collection game, then the task of collecting the game will be completed directly, which will give players a greater sense of achievement, players will feel satisfied with their previous wise moves. For this reason, we decided to put all the necessary props for the three chapters directly on the map before the game was received, and players can pick them up on the map by themselves.
- As the image above, players prefer to move to pick up things or perform other operations during the dialogue. This once again demonstrates that players prefer games with a higher degree of freedom. Since we planned to put all the props required by the game on the map from the beginning, the player can completely pick up and other operations during the dialogue process, which prevents the player from being unable to pick up props or browse the map because of the dialogue to improve the freedom of the game.
- After the player receives the collection game, the player prefers to complete the task directly and then continue this dialogue. This choice is also more in line with the logic of the plot. Players need to complete the tasks issued by the NPC before they can go on to the next plot, because the latter plot is related to the props the player has obtained before.
- Among the options for receiving task rewards, more players choose to receive the rewords at a designated rewords place. Players prefer to browse the various devices that appear on the map without restricting their movement during the dialogue, including rewards place. Collecting rewards in this place reduces the interaction between the player and the NPC, but increases the degree of freedom and the interaction between the player and the map. We plan to add chap2 and 3 prize-receiving devices on the map, and add relevant pictures to explain it for players to understand.
